Join Lanny Mackenzie a keen fibre artist and well-known basket weaver, with her ‘re-use, recycle, waste-not’ philosophy, in a comprehensive 2-day weaving workshop.
In this weekend workshop, participants will learn coiling technique in creating baskets & other structures using materials gathering in the garden & reclaimed/recycled cables using various stitches such as blanket & spiral stitch, with embellishment to enhance the woven creations. All materials and tools are provided.
This workshop is ideal for beginners but also will benefit everyone interested in the gentle art of weaving using natural materials. It is the most amazing feeling when you create something so personal, beautiful and unique.
All materials will be provided, limited numbers per workshop. Book in early to secure your place.
