This two-day workshop will provide you with the fundamental skills required to carry out basic welding techniques. This course will equip you with the ability to create one-of-a-kind metal sculptures, garden artworks and more. Students will be using electric arc stick welders and angle grinders and will learn techniques like butross weld and fillet weld. At the completion of the workshop you’ll walk away with a unique sculpture of your own created using techniques picked up over the 2 days.
Participants Materials List;
Leather workman gloves, safety googles, boots/covered shoes, welding helmet, sensible clothing - full long sleeves and long pants & any scrap metal you wish to work with.
Included in the fee;
Welding equipment and materials - including welders & rods, angle grinders, bench grinders. Light lunch each day as well as coffee and tea.
This workshop is designed to suit beginners and experienced welders.
Basic materials will be provided, limited numbers per workshop. Book in early to secure your place.
