COST: $200 per student. Includes complimentary lunch with Rosby Wines
TEACHER: Margaret Ackland
New to the Rosby Art program, Margaret Ackland will be teaching students to explore garments through drawing. This two-day workshop will focus on creating different fabrics using black & white conte sticks on paper. Students will begin by practicing drawing a few different types of fabric in black and white and then will embark on a larger work which could expand into colour. Suitable for all skill levels and is open to all.
Margaret Ackland has been exploring the trace and relic of human experience for more than 20 years. Whether through landscape, portraiture, small watercolour or painstakingly rendered images of historical garments, her practice has been one of unearthing and assembling patchy, intimate and ephemeral histories.
Limited numbers per workshop. Book in early to secure your place.
