ARTIST TUTOR: David Newman-White
In this two-day intensive workshop you will be taught how to create a composition with flowers as subject, how to model oil paint to achieve the form of flowers and how to recognize and draw the shape and form of flowers. The workshop will go through colour theory relating to complementary colours, complementary opposite colours & light & shade
About the tutor;
David Newman-White is a respected artist and tutor who specialises in painting and drawing. He runs painting and drawing workshops throughout NSW and interstate and tutors for the National Trust’s Norman Lindsay Gallery and Museum summer drawing program. He is just recently being included as one of the ‘40 Maitres du Pastel’ 2016, (‘40 Masters of Pastel’) in a new book produced by Pratique des Arts, France. He has been employed by TAFE NSW for the past thirty five years teaching Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses in Fine Art.
