Join Lanny Mackenzie & Sally Blackwell, both keen fibre artists and well-known basket weavers, with their ‘re-use, recycle, waste-not’ philosophy, in a comprehensive 2-day weaving workshop.
In this weekend workshop, participants will learn random weaving skills using natural grasses and materials from the Rosby property. Sally & Lanny will show participants how to random weave and then students can choose whether they want to create a sculptural form or a “basket” or something inbetween.
This workshop is ideal for beginners but also will benefit everyone interested in the gentle art of weaving using natural materials. It is the most amazing feeling when you create something so personal, beautiful and unique.
All materials will be provided, limited numbers per workshop. Book in early to secure your place.
